Line: The most basic building block of any design. Line can be used to create more complex shapes or to lead your eye from one area in the composition to another.

Is a line because a line is straight or curved and has some type of leading point. In this case, the picture has a long curved line that leads to the ground. There are also some straight lines in the corner of this picture that lead to the ground also. There are many types of lines and you see them everywhere you go.
